The scope of work for the alleyway maintenance and cleanup initiative is designed to ensure the safety and accessibility of alleyways for utility and emergency vehicles. This comprehensive task includes clearing grass, weeds, and other vegetation from the sides and overhanging areas of alleyways to maintain clear and unobstructed paths Contractors will employ a variety of tools, including hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, machetes, and weed eaters, to effectively manage and trim vegetation. The goal is to trim vegetation back as close to the property line as possible, maintaining a neat and orderly appearance The Awarded Vendor shall obtain and pay for all licenses, permits, and fees required for this scope of services; and shall comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations requirements applicable to the work contemplated herein Any questions or clarifications regarding this Invitation to Quote shall be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department via email at purchasing@northmiamifl.gov by no later than 3:30 PM (EST) on Friday, April 26, 2024. Respondent(s) must clearly understand that the only official answer or position of the City will be the one received in writing. All questions and/or requests for clarification received by the City on a timely basis, shall be answered by means of addenda posted on the City’s website at: https://www.northmiamifl.gov/bids.aspx Services must be completed by August 31, 2024. Contractor must provide justification to City staff for specific locations expected to last more than five (5) business days
