The City of Quincy, Massachusetts will accept sealed bids for the installation and/or repair of irrigation in tree pits, assessment and augmentation of existing soil, planting of double blossom begonias and manufacture and installation of posts/chains for 45 existing tree pits throughout the Downtown area. The awarded contractor must furnish, fabricate, galvanize, paint black and install 8 typical 3X3TS posts with ball caps at 45 locations. Remove existing drip irrigation, replace with pop-up irrigation which includes removal of any impervious surface and replacing excavated soils with high-quality clean loam for planting. Planting of 24 double blossom per tree pit. A 5% bid bond is required for the total value of the bid in the form of a bid bond or certified/treasurer's check. The bidding and award of this contract shall be in full compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, as last revised. All applicable Federal, State and City of Quincy regulations in relation to and subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law Chapter 149, 26 to 27H and/or any applicable federal rates.
