Site work for a civil project in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Works consist of the replacement of the existing sanitary force main including the supply and installation of 200mm diameter DR11 HDPE with an approximate length of 310m. The alignment has two tie-in locations at the western and eastern extents of the project. The project includes the supply and installation of a new 1050mm diameter manhole, where the main transitions from pressure to gravity flow. Works also include the supply and installation of approximately 45m of 200mm diameter DR35 PVC gravity main from the new manhole to an existing City of Vancouver manhole just east of Blanca Street. Site restoration work consists of granular subbase and base, and upper and lower course trench asphalt restoration following watermain installation. The Works provisionally consist of 2323 square meters of road restoration along W 7th Ave, which will either be completed via full depth reclamation or mill and overlay. Determination of the restoration method will be based on inspection of the existing flexible road structure.
