Site work and paving for a road / highway in Valley Grande, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Principal items of work include approximately 2,425 tons of asphalt wearing surface and related appurtenances. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1985, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
