Site work for a civil project in Walstonburg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed Bids for theconstruction of the Town of Walstonburg Water System Improvements: Thisproject will include replacement ofoutdated waterlines in the Town's water distribution system. Approximately3,051 LF of 8'' PVC pipe, 9840 LF of 6''PVC pipe, and 2,510 LF of 2'' pipe willbe installed to replace the galvanizedwaterlines throughout the core areaof the Town and replacement of approximately 183 water meters, 21 firehydrants as well as a radio meter system with billing software and all other work as shown on the constructiondrawings. From this point, the Engineer will direct the Contractor to perform repairs on the water system withthe remaining project funds available. General Contractor's license is required. With request for bidding documents, please supply the following information: company name,contact person, street address, phoneand fax numbers of bidding office, andN.C. contractor's license numbers withlimitation and classification. Please indicate if firm will be a bidder, supplier,or sub-contractor. Bids will be receivedfor a single prime contract. Bids shall beon a lump sum and unit price basis. Each bid mustbe accompanied by a Bid Security asspecified in the Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 05/14/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
