Demolition and site work for a civil project in Robstown, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 05/13/2024 at 12:00 PM CT The project consists of lift station improvements including demolition of existing lift station components, installation of new piping, valves, pumps, electrical equipment, wastewater grinders, and backup generators. A. Providing all materials, labor, equipment, supplies, supervision, incidentals, administration, and other items necessary to construct the lift station improvements for each site. In general, the project includes the following items Demolition of existing lift station pumps, piping, rails, electrical Installation of new pumps, piping, rails, electrical controls & appurtenances Installation of a wastewater grinder at the Main LS site Installation of emergency generators at each location A. The three locations are as follows a. Main Lift Station is located in the Robstown Public Works Yard at N. Upshaw Blvd. & State Dept Rd. b. Dakota Lift Station is located at the intersection of Dakota & George Ave. c. Aviator's Lift Station is located at the intersection of Texas Yes Blvd. & Terry Shamsie Blvd., just to the South of Aviators Baseball Stadium. Question deadline has been updated to 5/13/2024 at 12 PM GLO CDBG-MIT Lift Station Improvements. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 residents/businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Robstown or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The deadline to ask questions is 5/13/2024 12:00 PM CST The project consists of lift station improvements including demolition of existing lift station components, installation of new piping, valves, pumps, electrical equipment, wastewater grinders, and backup generators. The City of Robstown reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Robstown for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
