Asphalt Overlay of the Existing Danner Memorial Park Parking Lot the Chillicothe City Council Has the Right to Accept the Bid Which in Its Judgment is the Lowest and Best Bid, and to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities, Omissions, Oversights, or Irregularities in Any Bid. Overlay the existing parking lot at Danner Memorial Park, Trenton Rd, Chillicothe, MO consisting of
approximately 895 tons of asphalt and 1600 sy of pavement overlay. The work to be performed shall
include labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the proposed project. All materials for
construction will be supplied by the contractor and should be included as part of the bid proposal.
Chillicothe Street Department will do edge cold milling and will provide work zone signs and
barricades.
Construction Specifications: The specifications and contract governing the material are those known
and designated in the latest edition of the "Missouri Department of Transportation, Standard
Specifications for Highway Construction
Itemized Proposal: It is understood by the undersigned that the quantities given in the following
itemized proposal are not guaranteed by the City and are used solely for the purpose of comparing
bids and awarding the contract and may or may not represent the actual quantities encountered on
the job; and that the sum of the products of the quantities listed in the following itemized proposal,
multiplied by the unit price bid shall constitute the gross sum bid.
Contract Time: If this proposal is accepted, the undersigned hereby agrees that the Bid will be good
for the following period from the date of the fully signed proposal. The work shall be completed by
mutual agreement between the Contractor and the City during the 2024 construction season.
