In general, the project consists of maintenance of the adjacent ditch profile, the pulverizing and removing of the existing HMA surface, providing and installing cross-drains, storm sewers, fine grading, shaping, and minor cut and fill of the current roadway as needed, suppling and placing needed base aggregate, placing surface HMA pavement including paver curb as well as erosion control, site restoration, temporary traffic control signage, and disposal of waste materials from the construction of the project. The Project is required to be fully completed by August 15, 2024. A single base bid will be received for a single prime construction contract for all the work less any accepted alternates. The base bid will include all the items necessary for the completion of the project as shown on the plans. All work necessary to typically provide a complete project shall be included as incidental to the listed work items.
