Site work for a water / sewer project in Laconia, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Reconstructing the Weirs Municipal Docks off Lakeside Avenue Liquidated damages for failure to timely attain a Milestone, Substantial Completion, or completion of the Work in readiness for final payment shall be in the amount of $200 (two hundred dollars) for each calendar day of delay, and assessed in accordance with Article 3.3 of Section 00520 Agreement between Owner and Contractor for Construction Contract. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a certified check or a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the bid as provided for in the Instructions for Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. The City acting through the City Manager reserves the right to reject any, or all bid proposals, to waive any informality of the bids received, to omit any item or items, and/or to accept any bid as he may deem to be in the best interest of the City to obtain “best overall value”.
