Harvie Heights Intersectional Treatment km 3.914 to km 4.135 (0.221 km) (Hwy. 1 WB off Ramp) km 0.900 to km 1.140 (0.240 km) (Harvie Heights Road) The Municipal District of Bighorn is Inviting Tenders for the realignment of the Harvie Heights Road and Highway 1 Off Ramp Intersection to a standard T-Intersection configuration. The proposed Project consist of approximately 670 m stretch of Harvie Heights Road, located in the NE 07-025-10 W5M and SE 07-025-10 W5M, 3 km northwest of Canmore AB, adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway. The scope of work for this project shall include but is not limited to the following: Major intersection improvements at Junction Highway 1:02 westbound offramp and Harvie Heights Road Traffic Accommodation, including temporary overhead illumination. Grading, Base and Paving Traffic Accommodation, including temporary overhead illumination. Environmental management Culvert removal, extension, and installation by trenching Granular base course construction - Designation 2, Class 25 Asphalt pavement construction (Mix Type M1 - PG 52-34P) Topsoil placement.
