Invited to submit a sealed bid, as General or Paving contractor, on a single prime contract for the replacement of parking lots/drives and sidewalk projects by USD 305 School District. Contractor is to furnish all labor and materials as hereinafter specified on the contract documents. Project Scope (includes, but not limited to:) a. Removing existing asphalt parking lot and replace with concrete parking lot. b. Project is Federal funded so Davis-Beacon wages apply. Bid Security and Bonds: a. A Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the construction documents. The bond shall be written on AIA Document A 310. b. A Performance bond shall be written on AIA Document A312. The bonds shall be written as Statutory Bonds in the full amount of the contract and placed on file with the Clerk of the District Court. The Surety Company shall be approved by the United State Treasury Department, licensed by the state of Kansas, and approved for bonding the amount required for the project. The Bidder shall furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Bonds shall be included with the signed contracts. c. The Owner intends to award the work upon review and approval of the bids received. The successful contractor will be given ten (10) days after notification of the contract award to return the signed contracts with the required bonds and insurance certificates attached thereto.
