Lagrange Infrastructure Observation. Question Deadline 05/01/2024 Please Submit Questions by. Lagrange Utilities Commission is Accepting Bids for Infrastructure Construction Observation. 1. The Contract for General Observation Service Will Be Perpetual Until Terminated Per the Contract Documents. The Contractor Will Provide Routine Water and Sewer Infrastructure Observation and Reporting in Addition to Any Special Building Projects, at the Direction of the Commission by and Through the Director. The Contractor Shall Have No Decision-making Responsibility. 2. All Work Shall Be Performed in a Workmanlike Manner in Accordance With the Specifications Supplied by the Commission. All Materials or Equipment Employed by Contractor Shall Meet or Exceed Any and All Safety Standards. The Contractor Shall in All Respects Comply With Any and All Applicable Industrial Safety Standards, Regulations, Statutes, Ordinances, or Any Other Law. 3. Upon Request, the Contractor May Furnish Estimates or Proposals to the Commission, Which Documents May Describe the Amount of Hours Required for the Observation Services to Be Accomplished on a Particular Project, but Shall Not Vary the Terms of the Contract, the Commission's Specifications or Bid Documents (as Applicable). 4. The Contractor Shall Maintain Full Insurance Through a State Approved Insurance Company Covering the Work and Any Liability Resulting From the Performance of the Project, Including Workers Compensation Coverage for Its Employees or Agents. Contractor Shall Produce Proof of Insurance (Certificate of Insurance) Before Beginning Work and Shall Add the Lagrange Utility Commission and as an Additional Insured on Its Policy. In the Event the Contract is Found to Be Illegal, Unconscionable, or a Conflict of Interest by the Attorney General of Kentucky or Any Court Having Jurisdiction Over This Matter, This Contract Shall Immediately Terminate. Such Insurance Shall Have Maximum Limits as Follows: a. Comprehensive General Liability or Commercial General Liability: $1,000,000.00 for Any One Occurrence. B. Automobile Liability: $1,000,000.00 for Any One Accident. C. Workers Compensation: Statutory Limits. D. Employers Liability: $500,000.00 for Any One Occurrence 5. The Terms of This Agreement Shall Continue From Month to Month Until Terminated by Either Party by Thirty (30) Days' Written Notice to the Other. The Lagrange Utilities Commission Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Formalities and Any Bid That is Obviously Unbalanced May Be Rejected. Bidders Must Comply With the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, Which Prohibit Discrimination in Employment Regarding Race, Creed, Color, Sex, or National Origin. Bidders Must Comply With Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-kickback Act, Section 3 Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act.
