HVAC REPLACEMENT Bids will be publicly opened on day and time noted above, in the Hancock County Commissioner's first floor conference room, located at 514 South Main Street in Findlay, Ohio. This project is to replace the existing mechanical equipment, corresponding operating valves on water systems, hose kits, thermostats, condensers (on split systems) and provide outside air (where possible), on all HVAC equipment at the Hancock County BMV, AG Building, Hancock County Courthouse, and Education Building (Formerly County Home). In addition to the equipment replacements at these locations, new controls will be installed as well on all new equipment and shall connect to new county wide controls system integration. In addition to HVAC controls installation at the previous noted buildings, controls will also be installed and connected to existing equipment at the Jobs and Family Services Building and the Hancock County Jail. Paper faced R-30 attic insulation covering approximately 13,000.00 s.f. of the county home will be installed (all walkable). Outside air ducts will be added to several split systems at the Education Building (Previously County Home), and there will be minor duct added to a system at the courthouse in the attic space. There will be a required alternate bid for architectural shrouded enclosures around the 4 heat pumps installed in the main court room areas as noted on the plans. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Hancock County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. The Hancock County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in the accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any successful bidder against Hancock County or the Board of Hancock County Commissioners.
