This project consists of installing a new 16-inch C905 waterline on South Blanchard Street, running along the east side of the roadway, from Sixth Street to E. Hobart Ave. This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 2,705 LF of 16-inch C905 waterline, 30 LF of 8-inch C909 waterline, 50 LF of 6-inch C909 waterline, full depth pavement repair, waterline tie-ins, waterline abandonments, fire hydrant removal, hydrant replacement, misc. fittings, seeding and mulching. This project is funded by City of Findlay Water Funds as well as Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC). Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract.
