The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, parts, and equipment transportation costs necessary to perform all repairs and services required for the landscaping projects. The Department of Public Works (DPW) is currently seeking landscaping services during the spring and summer with a fall cleanup for Packet Landing at 1377 Bridge Street, Chase Brook Park at 261 Route 28, Police Station at 340 Higgins Crowell Rd, and Fire Station 3 at 520 Buck Island Road. This contract may also cover additional landscaping needs as they pop up Contractor is responsible for the following: 1.1 Removal and disposal of all landscape debris 1.2 Furnishing and applying appropriate fertilizers, weed preventers, pesticides and/or herbicides by a licensed applicator, according to the label's instructions. The Contractor shall provide a copy of the applicator's License to the Town of Yarmouth Department of Public Works. 1.3 Informing the Town of Yarmouth Department of Community Development of the application schedule for Packets Landing and Chase Brook Park, Informing the Public Works of application schedule for the Yarmouth Fire and Police locations. 1.4 Furnishing and spreading mulch to 1" thickness in designated beds. 1.5 Mowing, trimming, and weeding on a weekly basis once grass starts to grow and raking when needed. The number of weeks on the bid sheet are an estimate for bidding purposes and are subject to change depending on the weather and needs of the lawns The contractor shall commence work within 10 days of receiving a signed contract from the Town of Yarmouth. The Contractor shall maintain sites on a weekly basis until October 15,2024. The Contractor shall notify, the Town of Yarmouth Department of Public Works of any deviation From the weekly schedule Other Insurance Requirements
Comprehensive commercial general liability insurance with limits of at least $1 Million per occurrence and $3 Million annual aggregate for property damage and $1 Million per person and $3 Million per occurrence for bodily injury, which shall include the Town of Yarmouth as an additional insured, and which shall cover bodily injury, sickness or disease, or death of any person including employees and those persons other than the Contractor's employees, and claims insured by usual personal liability coverage, death, or property damage arising out of the Work including injury or destruction of tangible property, including loss of use resulting therefrom. Professional Liability Insurance Liability of $1 million per claim and $3 million aggregate. The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to cancel this RFQ or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if the Town of Yarmouth determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town of Yarmouth. The scope of the project is contingent on the availability of Town funds.
