The Fort Mill School District is seeking competitive sealed bids for the resurfacing of Nation Ford and Fort Mill High Schools Tennis courts. Question Deadline 05/07/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Laurie Martinez, martinezl@fortmillschools.org Mailing Address: Fort Mill School District Laurie Martinez 2233 Deerfield Drive Fort Mill, SC 29715 Request contractor to clean and scrape all courts removing all dirt, debris, loose court material, and any other matter, pressure wash all areas with a bleach solution and dispose of all waste off site in an approved location - Fort Mill School District will spray all cracks and surrounding areas/edges to kill all weeds and vegetation that may be growing in cracks that are on or around the tennis court playing surfaces. - Contractor will be responsible for removing all dead vegetation from the cracks and surrounding areas/edges, prior to applying patching materials. - Contractor will patch all depressions/birdbaths that are more than 1/8th inch of water can accumulate and remain, more than 1 hour on a sunny day with temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit or greater with acrylic patching material. All areas shall be tack coated prior to patching. - Contractor will apply acrylic resurfacer (Laykold or equivalent according to manufactures specifications. - Contractor will apply a sand filled coat and one finish coat of Laykold Color coat or equal according to manufactures specifications. FORT MILL HS surface area approximately 108x360 colors: Centers- Dark Blue Boarders- Medium Green. NATION FORD HS surface area approximately 154x240 Centers-Green Boarder- Red/brown. - Contractor will layout, mask, and hand paint all playing lines (2'') with Laykold Textured White acrylic Line Paint to conform to USTA specifications. All lines are to be sealed with Laykold Line Prime prior to application of line paint. - Contractor to refurbish all net posts with black enamel paint (Rustoleum or equivalent). - Contractor to rehang existing tennis court nets according to USTA regulations. - Contractor to repair any ruts caused by equipment driving on surrounding grounds, Backfill, seed and straw all affected areas while insuring water etc.... sheds away from court surfaces and towards appropriate areas. - Contractor to clean up all trash and debris generated from the project and dispose of offsite in an approved location. - Upon completion of project Fort Mill School District Maintenance Supervisor will do a walk through to ensure job has been completed according to all specifications. - Work may begin June 1, 2024- Final completion shall be done by August 5th 2024.
