Reference Number 0000268656 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/06 12:00:00 PM CDT Government of Manitoba requires a vendor for supply and delivery of submersible pumps for wastewater pumping at a mine. Quantity of pumps to supply: 2 (two) Standards and Codes All components described in this Agreement will be designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable codes and standards as defined in the latest editions of: (a) Canadian Standards Association (CSA) All equipment shall comply with the provincial and municipal laws and regulations governing the location where the equipment is to be installed. The Vendor will be responsible to register the equipment, where applicable, with relevant Canadian Provincial and Municipal Authorities, including paying for all fees. The submersible pumps, auxiliary equipment and instrumentation shall meet the requirements listed in the Specifications in Appendix D. In addition: Pumps shall be capable of continuous operation at rated and specified alternative conditions. Head curves are preferred which rise continuously to shut off. The shut off head preferred shall be 110% to 120% of rated head. Preference shall be given to pumps with the best efficiency point being between rated and normal operation points. Pumps shall be capable of at least a 5% head increase of rated head at rated capacity by installing a larger impeller. Impellers with pulsating or surging characteristics are not acceptable.
