All workmen engaged in this project shall be experienced and skilled in their trade. Evidence of licensing shall be provided. All service shall be done in a neat and workmanlike manner. When applicable, the contractor shall return all work areas to the condition existing prior to beginning work and any items damaged shall be restored to original condition at no cost to the Board. Questions on specifications should be directed to the Operations Manager, at 856-589-9120. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check or bid bond, with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner, in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid (but in no case in excess of $20,000), naming as payee or obligee, as applicable, Washington Township Board of Education, to be retained and applied by the undersigned in case bidder would default in executing the Agreement or furnishing the required bonds and insurance certificates as required The successful bidder must be able to demonstrate at least five years' experience in this field. The successful bidder shall supply a list of at least three (3) other customers, preferably school districts, with similar type of service currently being maintained by the bidder, along with a contact name and telephone number and length of service with each. The successful bidder must maintain a fully staffed and equipped service department which is able to provide regular service on all equipment. The contract term for both an award of the All-Inclusive Contract or a Time and Materials Contract will begin July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The Board reserves the right to renew the contract subject to mutual agreement, Board approval and the provisions of statute. It is anticipated that District Services for the 2024-2025 school year for Bid 25-009, Monitoring and Maintenance/Service for District Wide Security System and Fire Alarm System, will meet the Board's current bid limit of $44,000. End Date 06/30/2025 The Washington Township Board of Education is seeking bids from qualified contractors for proposals for Monitoring and Maintenance Services for the District-Wide Security System and the Fire Alarm System. The Washington Township Board of Education operates 12 schools, including a High School Complex, a central administration building, an operations building, a warehouse and a bus garage. The 11/12 High School has an ancillary athletic building (O'Brien Hall) and an ancillary maintenance building. Hurffville Elementary School has a separate TCU building that requires a separate security account. Supplemental Specifications/Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, Proposal Form and other bidding documents are enclosed. Bid prices shall be firm and not subject to increase for the period of the contract. While the Board retains the right to accept and award bids in whole or in parts, it is anticipated that there will be only one contract award for the Monitoring/Maintenance Services. The Washington Township Board of Education will act to award a contract at the next regular board meeting following the opening date of the bids.
