Question Cuttoff Date & Time 5/5/2024 11:00:00 PM (ET) It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for an Iowa licensed contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the repair of a wall at the West Burlington Maintenance Garage per the drawings and specifications attached. Shoring is in place and provided by other contractor. Estimated Project Start Date: July 1, 2024 NO WORK MAY START PRIOR TO JULY 1, 2024. (Start Date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager following vendor Award.) Estimated Project Completion Date: October 11, 2024 or as determined by the Construction Manager at the pre-construction meeting. (Contractor to indicate any material lead time issues that may prevent them from meeting this timeline and provide guidance for recommended completion date based on material lead time.
