Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a fitness / recreation center; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 Contract No. 1 - Base Bid - Site Construction This project involves improvements to existing Township property, including, but not limited to site preparation; unclassified bulk excavation; erosion and sediment control measures; storm sewer installation; asphalt and concrete paving; pavement line striping; concrete parking blocks; site signage; landscaping and plantings; and site restoration, complete in place. Contract No. 2 - Base Bid - Building Construction This project involves improvements to existing Township property, including, but not limited to, the construction of one (1) new concession / restroom / press box building, complete in place. Contract No. 3 - Base Bid - Electrical Construction This project involves electrical construction for the new concession / restroom I press box building, including, but not limited to, associated site and building electrical construction, complete in place. Contract No. 4 - Base Bid - Plumbing Construction This project involves plumbing construction for the new concession / restroom / press box building, including, but not limited to, associated site and building plumbing construction, complete in place. Contract No. 5 - Base Bid - HVAC Construction This project involves HVAC construction for the new concession / restroom I press box building, including, but not limited to, associated building HVAC construction, complete in place Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words "Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 : Contract No. 1 - Base Bid -Site Construction" or "Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 : Contract No. 2 - Base Bid - Building Construction" or "Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 : Contract No. 3 - Base Bid - Electrical Construction" or "Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 : Contract No. 4 - Base Bid - Plumbing Construction" or "Pullman Recreation Complex - Phase 1 : Contract No. 5 - Base Bid - HVAC Construction" Electronic copies of the Contract Documents will be made to Bidders at no charge upon request. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this Project All Contractors who intend to submit a Bid must attend for the Bid to be considered as responsive. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. The Proposals must be made to Butler Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting their Proposal guarantee. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Butler Township in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Township reserves the right to award the Contracts to the lowest responsive, qualified, and responsible Bidders based on consideration of the quality of previous work, record of completing projects on time, history of payments to subcontractors and suppliers, maintenance of a permanent place of business, adequacy of equipment and plant to do the work, technical expertise, a solid financial base to guarantee contract completion and all other factors deemed relative by the Township. Bidders are advised that the Township will award the Contracts to the lowest responsible, responsive, and qualified bidders in attendance at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for the listed work categories based on the total bid submitted. However, Bidders are advised that the Township expressly reserves the right to reject all bids, and specifically reserves the right to award to the lowest responsible, responsive, and qualified Bidder a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the Proposal, and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed, or less than all portions of the work listed, the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed. The Township reserves the right to waive any bid informalities or to reject any or all bids. If more time is necessary for the determination of the lowest responsible bidder, the Township reserves the right to award the Contract later but not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date Bids were submitted. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
