Site work for a water / sewer project in Dracut, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following for each bid area. For all bid areas, the work also consists of all respective surface restoration disturbed during the installation of the water main and accompanying work. Project completion shall be as described in Section 00520. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Base Bid Area The base bid consists of providing approximately 750 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, approximately 14 water services, and approximately 3 hydrants on Forest Park Avenue and Mascuppic Trail. Bid Alternate 1 Bid Alternate 1 consists of providing approximately 1,200 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, approximately 15 water services, and 2 fire hydrants on Malvern Avenue. Bid Alternate 2 Bid Alternate 2 consists of providing approximately 230 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, 3 water services, and 1 hydrant on Cedar Grove Avenue and Mascuppic Trail. Question Deadline 05/01/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via email at mtrahan@tighebond.com. Prospective bidders are responsible for ensuring their questions are received by the Engineer. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids
