As of October 23, 2024, construction had commenced on October 15, 2024. Completion is expected November 2024. All trades have been awarded. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The work will be accomplished through two contracts with Lac qui Parle County, with Contegrity Group Inc. acting as the Construction Manager. The following category of work will be bid (subject to change): Exterior Improvements & Landscaping. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security. If awarded a contract, each successful Bidder with a contract value of $175,000.00 or more shall be required to furnish both Performance and Payment Bonds covering faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising under such contract for such bonds shall be the latest edition of the AIA Document A312/CM, in the amount equal to 100% payment. All bidders shall follow MN State Statute 16C.285 subd. 3 regarding Responsible Contractor Requirements. Lac qui Parle County reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Bids may not be withdrawn or modified within forty-five (45) days after the closing time and date. The value listed is that of the total project value.
