Question Cuttoff Date & Time 5/6/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for Mower Repair Parts for the all DOT statewide locations. Lines 1-17 are DOT Warehouse Inventory items to be delivered to 931 S. 4th St., Ames, IA 50010 and will be F.O.B Destination. Lines 18-138 are for field orders statewide and freight will be prepaid & charge back. Contract Quantities Quantities listed are estimates only. Actual purchases may vary considerably based on actual needs throughout the contract period. Quantities on lines 18-138 are listed as one (1) as they are unknown at this time. Approved Brands Any manufacturers names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. Pre-Bid Substitution Form Pre-bid substitution form is attached under the Attachments tab and will need be filled out and sent to jean.gustafson@iowadot.us by the Question Cutoff Date/Time listed above. Please make sure to send specification sheets with your form for evaluation. Communication: Until a contract is awarded the sole point of contact for the solicitation is the Purchasing Agent identified in the solicitation. All questions must be directed solely to the Purchasing Agent listed in the bid opportunity. We encourage vendor to upload all questions on or before the question cut off due date and time in ION wave. Responses to questions will be communicated out to vendors via Site. Bid Responses shall be submitted within site or signed and prepared in ink or typewritten in the solicitation documents provided. Telephonic, email or facsimile responses shall not be considered. Contract Award One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied. Contract Dates Contract June 1, 2024-May 31, 2025. Contract Award The Contractor will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments.
