New Career and Technical Education Center - Building includes the following: large group instruction space, Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Auto Mechanic Drone Lab, Logistics Lab, Video Production, AI Lab and Medical Science. Project includes construction of New Career and Technical Education Center for Lamar CISD. Package 1 of this project will include Earthwork, Site Utilities, Building Foundation & Site Concrete, Structural Steel Fabrication, Plumbing (Under Slab), Electrical (Under Slab), HVAC (Chillers & AHU's Equipment), Electrical (Main Switchboard & Generator) scopes of work. DESCRIPTION: This item shall consist of a base course of an admixture of mineral aggregate and asphaltic material. One or more mineral aggregate containing both fine and coarse aggregates may be used to produce the required mix. 1.1. The coarse aggregate shall be clean, tough, and durable fragments of stone, crushed gravel, gravel or combined materials of uniform quality. It shall be retained on a No. 10 sieve. 1.2. The fine aggregate shall consist of sand passing a No. 10 sieve. The sand shall be stone particles free from foreign matter. The fine aggregate passing the No. 40 sieve shall not be more than 6 on the plasticity index. 1.3. Black Base Pavement Mixture shall be dense-graded hot mix asphalt, Type C (Coarse Surface) in accordance with Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Items 340 and 341. The Asphalt Binder shall be PG70-22, with an asphalt percentage of 3.5 to 7 percent of the mixture by weight.
