Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Burt County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and an End of Construction date with their Bid Proposal. The desired completion date for the site is November 1, 2024. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed forty (40) calendar days for completion of the project after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. The project is referred to as Craig East, C-11(425) and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required to construct twin 120 x 70 corrugated metal pipes on a 20-deg. skew (LHB) with steel headwalls and wingwalls. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Burt County Board of Supervisors.
