Notice Intent to Award: May 17,2024. o Start Date: June 17, 2024. o Estimate Completion: August 9, 2024. PREVAILING WAGES: The successful bidder and each of its subcontractors of any tier will be required to pay not less than the general prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract ("Prevailing Wages"). A copy of the per-diem rates of Prevailing Wages applicable to the Project is on file and available for review at the location specified above as the place for submitting bids, and a copy will be posted at the site of the Project. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted, nor any contract entered into without proof of the Contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the specifications noted in the bid. The Coronado Unified School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. In the event of identical bids, the Governing Board may determine by lot which bid shall be accepted per Public Contract Code 20117. Contractor responsible for taking measurements during Pre-Bid Conference & Site Walk. I. Demo and remove all existing wall and floor tiles. II. Demo and remove all damaged drywall. III. Remove all damaged/compromised insulation and replace all insulation that was removed with new equal to match existing. IV. Repair/replace all damaged compromised studs approximately 3-4 metal studs and bottom Chanel. District to approve prior to closing wall. V. Remove all toilets, sink, mirrors, hand dryers, partitions etc. VI. Install floor drain in all 7 restrooms. VII. Install hose bib under sink for water access in all 7 restrooms. VIII. Install/replace drywall with green board. IX. Mud and tape. X. Finish to match existing. XI. Install wall tile to match existing (footprint) height, width as prior district provides color number. XII. Floor to be Epoxy with 6'' cove base district to provide color. XIII. Prime and paint all 7 restrooms complete with semi-gloss district to provide color number. XIV. Reinstall all accessories, toilets, sink, mirrors, partitions, hand dryers, etc.
