Site work for a road / highway in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract is for the new construction of Asphalt Speed Cushions at an estimated 150 locations across the City of Hamilton. The locations will be provided to the Contractor in 2 separate lists. List #1 will be provided upon award of the Request for Tender and list #2 will be provided to the Contractor by August 5, 2024. The City reserves the right to add additional or remove locations throughout the project. Some asphalt speed cushion installations are in residential parking areas, due to these locations the Contractor may need to complete additional site visits prior to commencing Work and install appropriate traffic control signage to block off areas of Work site at side of road only (parking area). In extreme cases, the Contractor may have to complete and submit applicable parking affidavit documentation to the City's Parking Authority to receive additional support from City's Parking Officers.
