Reference Number 0000268996 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/17 02:00:00 PM EDT McMaster University invites eligible bidders to submit their proposals for the provision of Waste Disposal and Recycling Services, encompassing both goods and services, in accordance with the terms of this RFP. The objective of this proposal is to furnish comprehensive resources essential for the proficient management of all existing waste categories across the Campus. Additionally, it aims to support the initiation and advancement of a new program on Campus as the need arises. The scope of services encompasses not only the provision of resources but also extends to the ongoing maintenance of collection containers and associated cleaning tasks. The Successful Proponent Shall Be Able to Provide High Quality Services and Take Responsibility for the Collection and Removal of Waste and Recycling Materials From Mcmaster University. This Shall Meet the Industry Standard Requirements and as Per Regulations 102/94 and 103/94 of the Environmental Protection Act. Items to Be Furnished Under This Contract Include but Are Not Limited to the Following. Compactors Roll-off Containers Frontend Load Dumpsters. The Services Provided Are to Include Maintenance on Collection Containers, Cleaning, and General Repair. In Addition, to Develop and Provide a Sustainable Materials Management to the University, as It is Believed That This is an Opportunity to Improve Its Resource Efficiency by Reducing the Waste, Providing a Beneficiary in Reusing Materials, and Increasing the Recycling of Materials. The term of this agreement is for an initial term of three (3) years with an option to renew for up to an additional two (2) years to be renewed on a yearly basis as required, at McMaster's sole discretion. The anticipated start date of the contract is either June 2024 or August 2024, subject to change at McMaster's sole discretion.
