**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 030/31/26 to 04/07/26** The NC Department of Public Safety invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide professional design services for the construction of a Warehouse Expansion and a Badin Logistics Support Center Shed at the NC Division of Emergency Management facility located in Badin, NC. The Badin Warehouse Expansion will include a conditioned 20,000 SF raised warehouse addition immediately adjacent to the existing warehouse with four loading docks. Work will also include natural gas conversion of the existing warehouse heating system. The Badin Logistics Support Center Shed will include a stand-alone 4,680 SF engineered metal shed on slab and enclosed on three sides. Full Architecture and Engineering design services are required and will include all submittal requirements for the State Construction Office for all submittal phases, Cost Estimates updated at each phase with each SCO submittal, bidding services, construction administration services, record drawings in AutoCAD (latest version), and project closeout as defined by the State Construction Manual (Twelfth Ed.) dated March of 2019. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
