Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lantana, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

o Project limits on Lantana Trail are generally northbound main lanes of Lantana Trail between Kady St and Terrance Dr. o Work to be performed while Denton ISD is out for summer break. o Contractor responsible for traffic control plan and implementation/maintenance. o Contractor responsible for re-establishment of pavement markings, buttons and signage. o Construction staking by contractor but Engineer will provide control. o Contractor to specify third party independent construction material testing contractor/lab to be used. o All construction material testing to be provided by Contractor. o All main lane parallel longitudinal butt joints to be doweled and provided with a key-way. o Water meter deposit necessary ($1,000) and water usage must be logged and reported. Project water use will be no charge. o Concrete repairs to restore positive drainage where needed. o All sidewalks to have a 1" fall between the sidewalk and back of curb where a driveway is not present. o Contractor to protect mailboxes during all points of construction. o Contractor to contact homeowners 3 business days prior to eliminating access to their driveway o Project access shall at no time utilize Rayzor Road. Access shall be from Lantana Trail and other roads. o Suitable batch plant location will be provided by the District within short distance from project (<1.5 miles) o For limits of pavement replacement, existing subgrade densities to be checked and, if suitable and stable, re-used without re-work. If failures or voids observed existing material to be removed and replaced with compacted/rolled flexbase to meet line, grade and density. o Slip paving machine is assumed in base bid. o Contractor shall be responsible for SWPPP Concrete Road and Sidewalk Repair in the Lantana Project". The work for the construction consists of approximately 15,635 SF of concrete street repairs and improvements, 3,431 SF sidewalk repair and related work in the Lantana master planned community in south Denton County, TX.
