Renovation of a fire / police facility in Fort Bragg, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Scope of Work for the Fort Bragg Fire Station Roof Replacement Project The duty of the Contractor will be to remove all layers of existing roofing material, underlayment, flashing, and all necessary components. The contractor will be responsible for identifying and repairing all areas that require sheathing replacement; locations that may require it are any visibly damaged, or physically dilapidated areas. This will also include providing a solution to any areas that collect still water on the roof. The contractor will install new and City approved: underlayment, roofing material, fasteners, and flashing. The contractor will be responsible for removing all project debris. Any permitting required will be the contractor's responsibility to acquire. Bid-Specific Requirements: (Refer to Figure 1 "Location" for roof section nomenclature.) Section A: Submit like-for-like replacement cost with standard 30 year asphalt roof shingles. Section B, E: Submit a cost for a Modified Bitumen (Mod Bit) Roof replacement. Section C, D: Submit a cost for a Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Roof replacement Add- Alternate Items: (Refer to Figure 1 "Location" for roof section nomenclature.) Section C, D: Submit a cost for a Mod Bit roof replacement. A responsive bid will include a cost breakdown per section of roof with a description of the material to be used, and alternate pricing as requested. For the purposes of this contract, the city will analyze the cost of each individual section of roof, and potentially move forward with a combination of highest priority addalternate items. The city budget for this project is $150,000. Scope Items Procure all necessary materials May include but not limited to: Sheathing Underlayment Shingles Mod Bit Base Sheet Mod Bit Cap Sheet TPO Materials All variations of flashing (304 Stainless steel or approved alt) Vents, Ducts, and turbine tops (304 Stainless steel or approved alt) Nails and fasteners (Stainless Steel or approved alt.) Re-Use any existing materials in good standing including but not limited to: stainless steel wall cap, wall battens, gutters, etc. City to review materials being re-used. Acquire appropriate Permits Install all materials appropriately according to respective technical specifications and codes Remove and properly dispose of all project debris including following all construction and demolition recycling procedures. Repair/Replace any material removed or damaged for installation of new flashing including but not limited to: siding, stucco, etc. Repair any areas that collect water or inibit the flow of water off of the roof.
