The Immokalee Water and Sewer District ("District") is seeking bids for electrical upgrades to its Carson Road Water Treatment Plant ("WTP"). The WTP consists of a 2.0 million gallon above ground water storage tank and a newer building containing the high service pumps, motor control center ("MCC"), and standby generator which was constructed around 2008. The site also contains an older 0.75 million gallon above ground storage tank (abandoned), and an older pump building and MCC. The older pump building currently houses an MCC that provides power to well 102 and Lift Station "C". The MCC in the newer building provides power to the MCC in the old building. The District is an independent special district of the State of Florida, created and existing under Chapter 189, Florida Statutes to own and operate water and sewer systems within its boundaries.
