The general scope of the project is to set three new manholes and lay approximately 98 LF of 8" sanitary sewer line, all to City standards, as well as relay and reconnect two service lines with cleanouts, restore disturbed property during construction and remove an existing manhole top section and abandon in place. The City of Owasso (City) is requesting sealed bids and proposed completion schedules for construction work to include Sanitary Sewer Main and Service Line Relocations at 8410 North 121st East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma. See the attached map for the project location and the extent of the proposed work. The scope of the project is to be as follows: 1) Set 3 new manholes to City standards a. 1 doghouse manhole (5.87' Rim to FL) b. 2 standard manholes (4.01' Rim to FL, 4.02 Rim to FL) 2) Lay approximately 98 LF of 8" sanitary sewer line (SDR 35 min standard) to City standards a. Open cut (if chosen) i. to include tree removal as necessary ii. to include fence removal and replacement as necessary b. Bored in place (if chosen) i. directional bore 3) Relay and reconnect 2 service lines a. Cleanouts installed at any horizontal bends 4) Restoration of any fences, sidewalk, or sod disturbed during construction 5) Removal of existing manhole top section and abandon in place with line plugged, bottom section filled with compacted soil. No part of abandoned manhole should be within 2' of the finished grade. 6) The construction company will be responsible to identify all utility locations and determine if there is a utility conflict prior to start of construction. Please provide your sealed bid proposal containing a bid cost (Lump Sum) and the number of calendar days you propose to complete the work from the Notice to Proceed date, which could be as early as May 13, 2024.
