Window Lintel Repairs Tazewell High School Gym The Tazewell County School Board is soliciting proposals to provide for the repair of four (4) Window Lintels at the Tazewell High School Gym. All bids must be in writing and must contain an original signature by an authorized officer of the company. All bids shall be presented in a sealed envelope and clearly contain on the outside of the sealed envelope the notation: "Window Lintel Repairs." No late, emailed, faxed or telephone bids will be accepted. The Tazewell County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate with any respondent to the RFP, if deemed to be in the best interest of the school division. A responsible Offeror is one whose financial, technical, and other resources indicate an ability to perform the services required by this solicitation. The work under this project consist of removing and installing new windows. The existing wood framed windows are set in masonry and plaster walls. The intent is to methodically and carefully remove the existing windows without damaging the existing masonry and plaster finishes. The existing sealant between windows is to be removed and existing wall finishes to remain shall be cut free before attempting to remove the windows, frames and trim. All shall be completed in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and specifications.
