A. The project work consists of roof replacement on a campus center building. The building shall be constructed so as to meet all the requirements of the Contract Documents, including but not limited to, the plans and specifications for the Massachusetts State Project Number SSA2452- FT1, Roof replacement for the Ellison Campus Center, Salem State University (SSU), 352 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA 01970. B. General Project Information 1. The project consists of removal and replacement of approximately 16,500 square feet of low slope roofs at Ellison Campus Center. C. The work will include all operations necessary to deliver the building(s) and ancillary on and off site amenities in a fully installed and operable condition including all utility and site work and obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. Where utilities exist within and adjacent to the building(s) and ancillary parking lots, and are known by the Owner, they have been shown on the site plan(s) appearing in, but not restricted to, the exhibits. Connections to these existing utility lines will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Salem State University (Awarding Authority) is inviting electronic proposals for project SSU Project #7321 Ellison Campus Center Roof Replacement. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A (2) (B) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive.
