Renovation of a residential development in East Ridge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade residential development.
Replacement of the exterior siding and the painting of the Sanitation and Streets 2-story building located at 1015 Yale Street, East Ridge, TN 37412. The City of East Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities therein and to award the bid in the Citys best interest. The following specifications represent the scope of work to be completed and represent the minimum standards accepted for this work: The existing vinyl siding, as well as any damaged wood and/or air barrier seen underneath, shall be completely removed and replaced. The existing siding is to be replaced with a material siding that is more durable and rigid than vinyl. Specify the material siding. The rough measurements of the building are: height 17 feet; length 31 feet; and width 26 feet. All bidders looking to place a bid will be responsible to take their own exact measurements. The concrete block walls that are stucco are to be painted a color to be determined by the owner. All work is to be done during city working hours. All work must comply with the 2018 International Building Code requirements outlined in Chapter 14, pertaining to exterior walls.
