Site work and paving for a civil project in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work under this contract shall consist of: full depth reclamation of existing pavement, furnishing and installing of new bituminous concrete pavement, install bit berm, various drainage improvements, and all other appurtenant work. Interested bidders must be MassDOT prequalified. The undersigned hereby agrees that the Contract Time shall commence ten days following the Effective Date of the Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the Work within Three Hundred Sixty-Five (365) Calendar Days following the Effective Date of Notice to Proceed, in accordance with the terms as stated in the Agreement. The undersigned further agrees to pay the Town, as liquidated damages, $500.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the Contract Time Limit or extension thereof that the Work remains incomplete, in accordance with the terms of the Agreement Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Colin Loiselle at cloiselle@tyngsbroughma.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
