The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for a consultant with expertise in Geotechnical Engineering. Some of the funding for these projects is from Federal sources. The following are Federal Aid projects: o Gordon Road Bridge No. 1506 Replacement o Colbert Road Bridge No. 3703 Replacement o Bruce Road and Peone Road Roundabout The following are specific tasks that may be required: o Conduct Geotechnical subsurface investigations. o Perform retaining wall and slope stability design. o Provide foundation recommendations and design parameters. o Provide design alternatives. o Provide support for special construction methods. o Provide construction support. o Provide road cut/fill slope recommendations. o Perform pavement thickness designs. o Prepare Geotechnical reports. THE BOARD hereby notifies all bidders that no person or organization shall be discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, color, age, sex, sexual orientation or national origin in consideration for an award issued pursuant to this advertisement. Additionally, minority and women owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids in response to this invitation. QUESTIONS regarding the bid process shall be submitted via online. Spokane County Purchasing will respond to questions via online, thus providing all questions and answers to all prospective bidders.
