The City of Warner Robins invites the submission of bids for site clearing services to be completed at City Storm water Ponds. All questions must be submitted via the Online system by Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM (ET). Site clearing activities include, but may not be limited to, the following: Removal of trees above ground, on side slopes, and pond floor Stump grinding to ground level; to include grubbing or removal of root balls and/or stumps Standing timber will be chipped and/or ground using mobile forestry equipment The limbs and vegetative debris generated by logging activities must be removed from worksite. There will be no long-term piles of vegetative matter. Any disturbed areas will be seeded and strawed using a mixture of permanent grass (Bermuda) and perennial grass (Rye, Fescue) All work must be completed within 30 days of Purchase Order issuance The Work shall be performed under a fixed price contract that shall include: premobilization including submittals and training, mobilization, installation and maintenance of storm water management and erosion and sediment control devices (ECDs), site clearing, dust control, and other specific work activities in conformance with Contract requirements to perform the work. The bid, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability, value, and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities.
