The work is located San Joaquin County near Lodi, California as well as near Stockton, California and is situated along Potter Creek, Mormon Slough, Bear Creek, Paddy Creek, North Paddy Creek, and Little John Creek. The work, in general, consists of removing existing pipe penetrations through levees and replacing with reinforced concrete pipes, installing flap and slide/canal gates, reinforced concrete riser structures, and new reinforced concrete inlet/outlet structures as prescribed in the project plans and specifications. Due to expected long lead times, the County will be procuring both the 30-inch and 48-inch flap/canal gates for the contractor to install. Work sites are accessible via levee roads with varying access conditions and constraints based on the time of year. The following routes identify known site access routes; however, the contractor is responsible for making necessary preparations, including coordinating with the County, for each site before entering access and work areas. The County will obtain any necessary Temporary Entry Permits (TEPs) for access to the work area and the applicable properties. Travel northbound 2.1 miles on N Jack Tone Rd, then turn right onto E Sargent Rd and continue for 0.7 miles before turning right onto levee road.
