As of June 2, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is likely to begin in the fall of 2026. The project will remove a 60-year-old generator and associated controls located in the Armory (currently serving only the Armory) and replace it with a new sustainably powered generator capable of supporting emergency functions in both the Armory and Fisher Pavilion. The new sustainable emergency generator may be fueled by a combination of solar, wind, fuel cell, and diesel. These sustainable power sources should be designed to feed into a 1,106kWh battery storage system that will connect to the generator for use during emergency situations. bid date Notes: The City allows and will accept an electronic submittal in lieu of an official paper submittal. a.
