This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by the Corporation of the County of Northumberland (the County) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for the Burnley Creek Bridge Rehabilitation, as further described in the bid documents. The County of Northumberland is seeking quotations for the rehabilitation of the Burnley Creek Bridge, located in Warkworth, Ontario on County Road 25, approximately 0.3 km north of County Road 29 (Mill Street). The existing bridge is a single span, two lane rigid frame arch structure that was constructed in 1959. The proposed rehabilitation scope of work is anticipated to include the following: - Remove existing concrete handrails and curbs - Scarify and partial depth removals of the bridge deck and placement of a 60mm depth normal concrete overlay - Remove deteriorated concrete from the deck soffit, abutments and wingwalls - Remove the existing approach guide rails - Waterproof and pave the bridge deck - Construct new parapet walls with new galvanized steel railings - Patch repair of concrete deck soffit, abutments and wingwalls - Install new steel beam guide rail and end treatments on the approaches - Restoration of embankments with rock protection on geotextile Documents can be obtained at: https://northumberlandcounty.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Thu May 16, 2024 4:00:00 PM (EDT) bid values are undisclosed
