The project includes, but is not limited to, potholing multiple locations at 476 separate water services throughout the District's water systems. The project also includes asphalt restoration, gravel shoulder and gravel driveway restoration, and landscape/surface restoration. The primary purpose of the proposed project is to pothole and verify pipe material for 476 water services throughout six of the District's water systems. The locations of the work are on six different District water systems near the cities of Lake Stevens, Arlington, Gold Bar, Granite Falls, Stanwood, and Startup, all within Snohomish County, Washington Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security payable to the District equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price (the "Bid Security"). The Bid Security constitutes a pledge by the Bidder to the District that the Bidder will enter into the Contract with the District in the form provided, in a timely manner, and on the terms stated in its Bid, and will furnish in a timely manner the payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, Contractor's construction schedule, and all other documents required by the Invitation to Bid. By submitting a Bid, each Bidder represents and agrees that the Bid Security, if forfeited, is a reasonable prediction at the Bid Time of future damages to the District. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by such check or bid bond The District encourages qualified, Washington State certified Minority and Women's Business Enterprises to request these Bidding Documents and to bid on this work The District intends to award a Contract on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, subject to change pursuant to the provisions of contained in the Bidding Documents for this Invitation to Bid The District reserves the right to reject a Unit Price at any time, without impairing other proposed unit prices.
