Renovation of an educational facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for a single General Contract including, but not limited to providing a complete fire suppression system in the Desert View ES. Currently Desert View Elementary School has sprinkler heads in the hallway. This project will update that system and add sprinklers in the classroom and support spaces of the building. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in accordance with Instructions to Bidders in the amount often percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish to Engineering Design Associates, within ten (10) days of the bid's acceptance, Performance, Labor and Material Bonds, each in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum, and as authorized by Wyoming Statutes Section 16-6-112 (as amended) Contractors shall comply with all fair labor practices and must meet the requirements of the Wyoming State Statutes. A five percent (5%) preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractors in accordance with the applicable State Statutes. Resident contractors shall be certified as such by the Wyoming Department of Employment at the time ofthe bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids, except as noted in the Instructions to Bidders.
