The Project includes the following Work: Roadway improvements along Bolender-Pontius Road consisting of widening existing travel lanes, milling and resurfacing existing roadway, and full-depth reconstruction of horizontal curve. Project limits begin at mile 0.00 (Old Tarlton Pike) and end at mile 1.29 (Stoutsville Pike). Project is split into Phase 1 and 2 for purposes of Ohio Public Works Commission funding, and quantities shall be separated and tracked as such. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination as published by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. The City of Circleville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Total Base Bid shall be the total combined cost of Phase 1 and 2. This Project is being funded in part by the Ohio Public Works Commission funding.
