The City of Tawas City is soliciting bid proposals for a contractor to perform work on resurfacing streets at various locations within the City of Tawas City. The work is to include crushing 13,515 square yards of existing asphalt surface and resurfacing with 1859 tons of hot mix asphalt (HMA) at 2.5" and one (1) foot of aggregate (188 tons) along the shoulders. The project is intended to start on or about August 16, 2024 and must be completed on or before November 15, 2024 The City of Tawas City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
