Project Description: All Porous and Semi Porous Building Components That May Have or Will Come in Contact With the Contaminated Building Materials Should Be Remediated by Demolition. This May Include, but is Not Limited to Interior Drywall, Studs, Insulation, Ceiling Tiles and Grids, Floor Tile, Doors, Furnishing, Fixtures, Etc.. These Items Shall Be Removed Prior to Any Work to Decrease the Possibility of Spreading Mold Spores Onto Them. At the Completion of the Remediation, the Entire Building Shall Be Fogged With an Epa Recognized Mold Sporicide/fungicide. B. The Contractor Will Be Responsible for All Costs Related to Printing and Distribution to Subcontractors. 7. Bidders Will Be Required to Provide Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond of a Sum No Less Than 5 Percent of the Bid Amount. 8. Refer to Other Bidding Requirements Described in Document 00.2113 - Instructions to Bidders. 9. Submit Your Offer on the Bid Form Provided. Bidders May Supplement This Form as Appropriate. 10. Your Offer Will Be Required to Be Submitted Under a Condition of Irrevocability for a Period of 60 Days After Submission. 11. The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Offers. The Project consists of the remediation of abestos, mold, and other contaminants throughout the entirety of the building . PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ALL POROUS AND SEMI POROUS BUILDING COMPONENTS THAT MAY HAVE OR WILL COME IN CONTACT WITH THE CONTAMINATED BUILDING MATERIALS SHOULD BE REMEDIATED BY DEMOLITION. THIS MAY INCLUDE, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO INTERIOR DRYWALL, STUDS, INSULATION, CEILING TILES AND GRIDS, FLOOR TILE, DOORS, FURNISHING, FIXTURES, ETC... THESE ITEMS SHALL BE REMOVED PRIOR TO ANY WORK TO DECREASE THE POSSIBILITY OF SPREADING MOLD SPORES ONTO THEM. Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than 7 days before date set for receipt of bids. The reply will be in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be forwarded to known recipients. Submit three hard copies of each Application for Payment. Submit additional copies as required by the Owner and/or the Owner's Lending agent. A. Electronic Documents: Submit one electronic copy in PDF format; an electronically-marked up file will be returned. Create PDFs at native size and right-side up; illegible files will be rejected. B. Extra Copies at Project Closeout: See Section 01.7800. C. Samples: Submit the number specified in individual specification sections; one of which will be retained by Architect. 1. After review, produce duplicates. 2. Retained samples will not be returned to Contractor.
