Renovation of a multi-residential development in Newton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
2023 Phase IV UFAS /ada Renovations at Project 030-003 {decatur, MS), Project 030-010 & 030-017 (Taylorsville, MS), Project 030-019 (Bay Springs, MS) No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof, and each bidder must comply with the laws of the State of Mississippi and all local laws relative to the performance of said work. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of this Invitation for Bids. The Mississippi Housing Authority V, Newton, MS reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All work listed below is for the (1) H/C Dwelling Unit: Sitework: Repair all areas of site damaged during construction including but not limited to ruts, concrete, etc.... Demo/Remove designated portion of existing sidewalks, parking pads, etc... and construct new as indicated. Construct new concrete parking slabs, ramps and sidewalks etc.... as indicated on drawings. Building Exterior/lnterior: (3 BR Unit converted to 2 BR H/C Unit): Demo/Remove designated components ofthe unit. Construct new stud and gyp board walls as shown on plans. Install new doors (interior and exterior) including new hardware. Remove existing and install new 5/8" gypsum board ceiling on existing trusses. Remove existing and install new flooring in entire unit. Install new base and crown moulding throughout entire unit. Install new frp at designated walls. Install new attic insulation. Paint interior of entire unit including but not limited to ceiling, walls, doors and trim, etc Install new h/c base and wall cabinets in kitchen and closetshelving including rods. Install new hvac system. Install new plumbing fixtures, fittings, faucets, etc. Install new electrical panel, all new wiring, devices, boxes, switches, etc... Install new light fixtures. Asbestos Abatement: The Asbestos Abatement Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of the asbestos containing materials in all units and buildings where construction is to be performed. See Asbestos Specifications.
