Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Repair the steam piping in Nellor Biomedical Sciences by replacing with new piping for steam and condensate. All piping, valves and ancillary steam equipment to be replaced per construction drawings.

Special Considerations: It is possible there will be work stops depending on lab research requirements. Areas of the construction are in a restricted research lab with live animals. Steam is for building heating and research washdown equipment, limit duration of shutdown.
Cage washing machine cannot be down for more than a few days, contractor to coordinate shutdown with CM and department. Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Contractors Pollution Liability Insurance, and Builders Risk Insurance will be required. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "July 1, 2024" and shall be fully complete by "August 30, 2024."
