As of 5/1/2024, this project was canceled and will be rebid. McKinney ISD is accepting proposals from vendors that can provide pricing for CAFETERIA SERVING LINES according to the specifications provided. McKinney ISD seeks to establish a contract(s) for Cafeteria Serving Lines in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this bid/proposal. McKinney ISD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: INCLEMENT WEATHER: In case of inclement weather or any other unforeseen event causing McKinney ISD to close for business on the date of a bid/proposal submission deadline, the bid closing will automatically be postponed until the next business day McKinney ISD is open, unless Contractor is otherwise notified. The bid/proposal opening time of day shall remain the same. ADDENDA: Any interpretations, corrections, supplemental instructions or changes to the bid/proposal documents will be issued by an Addenda. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. AWARD: McKinney ISD seeks to establish a contract(s) for Cafeteria Serving Lines in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this bid/proposal. McKinney ISD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: Award a Comprehensive Contract: McKinney ISD may award a contract for all items (in total) to a single vendor based on the cumulative evaluation of proposals, where such award is deemed to be in the best interest of the district. Award by Line Item: McKinney ISD may award contracts by individual line item or groups of line items to one or more vendors, where it is determined that segmenting the award in this manner better serves the district's interests. Reject Any and All Proposals: MISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this bid/proposal. This right is reserved whether or not proposals are responsive or responsible, and the exercise of this right may be made according to the District's sole discretion and in the best interest of McKinney ISD. Vendors are encouraged to submit comprehensive and competitive proposals that align with the bid/proposal's specifications and McKinney ISD's broader strategic goals. Bids/Proposals should be prepared with the understanding that the award can be made in a manner that best accommodates the diverse needs of McKinney ISD, either through a singular comprehensive contract or through multiple awards by line item. BOARD MEETING: Monday, June 24, 2024 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: Tuesday, June 25, 2024 CONTRACT TERM: The successful vendor will enter into contract for CAFETERIA SERVING LINES. The initial contract period shall be effective upon Board approval and be for one (1) year from the date of award, or upon completion, whichever comes earlier. McKinney ISD has the option to extend this RFP at the end of the performance period for up to 120 days if determined to be in the best interest of the district to ensure availability of products and/or services. McKinney ISD has the option to issue subsequent RFPs as needed. Initial Contract Period: June 25, 2024 - June 24, 2025, or upon completion, whichever occurs earlier.
